Sports Physiotherapist BAppSci (Physio) APA OPSMC Gary Nicholls is an APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist with 18 years of experience. Gary has been working at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre for 11 years, primarily at our Albert Park Centre until recently. Gary is now in his 10th year as a physiotherapist at Collingwood Football Club. He has also previously worked in many of Melbourne’s other prime sports medicine clinics as well as having significant overseas experience in Canada and the UK, working alongside and trading ideas with physiotherapists from over ten different countries. Gary has worked extensively with athletes at elite and amateur levels from the following sports – AFL football, athletics, triathlons, squash, swimming, soccer, netball. He also has an area of interest in issues relating to active people of the general population, particularly in regard to back and neck conditions.
Regions of the body of particular interest include hip, hamstring and groin injuries, back and neck conditions, knee and ankle injuries, and biomechanical issues producing achilles, calf and shin problems.
