Leanne Scown has worked in private practice since graduating from The University of Melbourne. She completed her full training in DMA Clinical Pilates in 2004 and has specialised in this field over the last five years. Her interest lies in rehabilitation of both acute and chronic spinal conditions, headache and postural pain, dance medicine, musicians, joint hypermobility syndrome and associated pain syndromes. Leanne is also skilled in the use of Real Time Ultrasound for assessment of abdominal and pelvic floor dysfunction, Dry Needling for the use of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and Kinesiotaping to assist with rehabilitation and recovery from injury.
Leanne has worked extensively utilising Clinical Pilates with sports specific rehabilitation from acute injury to return to play with both amateur and elite sports people.
