Clare Burrows completed her Certificate in Remedial Massage in 2000 and went on to complete her Diploma of Health Science in Remedial Massage in 2003. She joined the Soft Tissue Therapy team at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre in February 2004.

Clare enjoys being part of a team to promote health and wellbeing, providing remedial massage treatments as part of a soft tissue therapy approach to health and recovery. Clare has a strong interest in the Massage Industry, and has a special interest in postural conditions including: lower back pain, thoracic back pain and referral pain patterns, neck pain, pregnancy massage - working with clients during all stages of pregnancy.

Further study includes Oriental Massage treatments incorporating acupressure trigger point therapy.

Qualifications:

• Diploma of Health Science - Remedial Massage
  Certificate in Oriental Massage

Involvement with Teams and Associations:

• Currently working with Melbourne Football Club as a Massage Therapist and finds the experience both challenging and rewarding.

Professional Associations & Memberships:

• Registered member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists and listed with most Health funds as a registered provider.

Personal sporting experience:

• Netball and Hockey at a recreational level.
