Dr Greg Harris has worked in Sports Medicine since 2001, having had many years of Emergency and ICU experience. He gained his Fellowship of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians in 2008 and is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and of the International Society for Mountain Medicine.

He has been involved with a number of elite sporting teams and organisations including Richmond AFL Football Club, the AIS Under 23 Cycling squad, the NT Institute of Sport, the NT Mosquitoes Rugby Union team and the 2008 UCI Cycling World Cup in Melbourne. He has been an expedition doctor in Australia and overseas, and is an IOC Sports Medicine Course Director for the Oceania region.

Greg’s research interests include high-altitude medicine and physiology, and his professional interests include all levels of sports medicine, particularly cycling, cricket, golf, hockey, football and motor sports.

Personal interests include the great outdoors, family and friends, trying to keep fit and golf when possible. He enjoys being an armchair mountaineer when he cannot get away in person.

His other practice is at Mornington Peninsula Sports Physicians in Mornington.
