Dr Neels du Toit achieved his primary medical qualification in 1997 completing his internship in Klerksdorp. He was Senior House Officer in Orthopaedics at Bristol in the UK, later becoming Sports Physician registrar at Brisbane Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. Neels has an interest in general sports medicine, as well as tendon pathology. He is currently busy with a research project on neovascularisation and sclerosing injections in chronic lateral epicondyle extensor tendinopathy.

• Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine (Bath, UK)
• Australasian College of Sports Physicians Registrar
