Bio
Anne Davies has practised as a Remedial Massage Therapist and Myotherapist at OPSMC since 1990. Working closely with other specialist clinicians in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, she has a broad interest in pain, injury and dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system arising from recreational and competitive sports, work demands, postural stress and life in the big city.
Anne Davies has experience teaching postgraduate courses, has presented at peer conferences and written massage therapy related articles. She has also worked closely with swimming and athletics competitions at state, national and international levels.

Anne Davies came to massage therapies through her studies in Naturopathy and brings to her practice a broad interest in optimising musculoskeletal functioning, pain reduction and enabling activity, in support of each patient’s general health and lifestyle.
Since having a family, Anne Davies has concentrated on her clinic work, practising at AAMI Park. She continues to attend conferences and workshops in the broader field of sports and musculoskeletal medicine, as well as for specific soft tissue therapies.
Anne is a basketball Mum, but her own fitness interests are more general and involve being outdoors (running, cycling, bushwalking and gardening) and she is passionate about encouraging and helping people to keep active throughout their lives.
