Steve Hawkins works with a diverse range of athletes but has a special interest in court sports (netball, tennis, basketball). Steve has extensive experience with knee injuries (involved in research through University of Melbourne), ankle injuries and a special interest in sporting hand and wrist injuries (including splinting).

Steve has been practising now since 1991 including thirteen years in a large, multi-disciplinary sports medicine centre (Croydon Sports Medicine Centre) in Melbourne's eastern suburbs prior to commencing at Olympic Park. He has been a titled sports physiotherapist since 2001.

Aside from netball, he has worked with many other sports including basketball, football, swimming, tennis and athletics but is a fan of just about any competitive pursuit!

Steve completed a stint as a team physiotherapist with the Welsh Commonwealth Games Team during 2006 so has a new found understanding of boxing, weightlifting and Rugby 7's as well.
