Steve O'Connor has been a podiatrist for the past 9 years since graduating from the University of Salford with Honours, in England, in 2002.

His main interests lie within the field of gait analysis, biomechanically induced tissue stress, management of lower limb injuries in recreational to elite athletes, effect of footwear and orthotic therapy, and post-operative care.

Steve has recently retired from Rugby Union, which he played at an Amateur and Semi Professional level for over 12 years. He has since developed a passion for Multisport events and Triathalon. He also has a keen interest in golf and running and all sporting activities.

He has a professional and personal interest in sports medicine and currently works with athletes from recreational to elite levels.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Podiatry with Honours
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Lower Limb Anatomy
