Drew Slimmon completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne. He has worked in Melbourne and Hobart in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He has been a doctor at the Hawthorn Football Club from 2008 - 2010. Drew has also worked with junior Australian soccer teams, martial arts clubs and Melbourne based hockey and amateur football clubs.
Drew's special interest areas include treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, preventative exercise, exercise prescription, and exercise induced asthma. He has presented research on exercise induced asthma and exertional compartment syndrome, a condition causing shin pain in runners.
Drew enjoys all sports and is focussed on helping others achieve their sport and exercise goals.
