Bio
Andy Stephens started his career at OPSMC in 1990 as a massage therapist. He also worked at the Royal Ballet Company in the UK from 1994 to 1997 and Essendon Football Club (1999 – 2003) before graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University in 2002. He has since been appointed physiotherapist to the AFL umpires (2005-2007, and 2012- 2014) and to the Hawthorn Football Club (2008-2010).
Andy completed his Master of Sports Physiotherapy in 2012, and has a special interest in dance medicine, track and field and Australian Rules Football. His clinical approach combines exercise therapy and patient education with hands-on treatment to address existing problems and prevent the development of new injuries.
