Sports Physician MB BS FACSP PhD Clinic: OPSMC Following the completion of her Sports Physician training in 1999, Dr Karen Holzer also completed a PhD in exercise–induced asthma in 2002. She has a special interest in asthma, exercise-induced asthma and exercise related breathing problems and she is currently completing a Post Doctorate Fellowship in exercise-induced Asthma. Karen’s practice interests and specialty areas also include: allergies; lethargy and tiredness in athletes; the female athlete and all musculoskeletal injuries. Karen has a particular interest in the sports of swimming, track and field, basketball, rowing cycling, triathlons, football and netball. Qualifications: - Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB BS)
